StormTribe RP [M]

Here is the thread for StormTribe RPing.

Bravestar: "Split up and meet back here at sun high," he tells the morning hunting patrol.
He heads deep into the woods. After he finds a suitable place to hunt, he sniffs the air.
"mouse," he whispers under his breath. He stalks forward and spots the mouse. He quietly and low to the ground moves forward toward the mouse. The wind is blowing toward him, so the mouse can't smell him. 1..2..3.. and he pounces! He quickly snips the mouse's neck and kills it.
"That was a good catch," he says as he compliments his catch. By the time it's sun high, he has caught 2 mice, and a sparrow.
He sits down where he started and drops his fresh kill on the ground in front of him. The rest of the hunting patrol shows up soon after.
"Good catches everyone," he tells everyone in the patrol. "Let's head back to camp."
As Bravestar and his patrol walk into camp, they drop their fresh kill on the fresh kill pile. He grabs the sparrow he caught and takes it to the elders den. He knows it's an apprentice's job, but he likes taking fresh kill to the elder's den, because he still loves to hear the stories they tell. 'There's always more to learn from the elder's' he thinks.

Thunderpaw was rolling up the old moss when he heard another cat come in.
"Bravestar?" He frowned. "I'll be right back Lilypool." He said as he trotted past his leader carrying all of the old moss. He passed Bluepaw, who was carrying new moss, and he headed out of camp.

"I'll be right back Lilypool." Thunderpaw said. "Such a great apprentice he is..." She muted. Bluepaw came in with the new moss.
"Here Lilypool, I have the moss." Bluepaw whispered. Lilypool nodded and started to spread it around.
"Ah, Bravestar, thank you for the sparrow. Is there anything you would like?" Lilypool asked. Bluepaw backed out of the den.
(in another part of camp)
"Stormtail and Thunderpaw, we shall go patrol the NightTribe border." Ravensong meowed. "We'll be back at nightfall, okay Bravestar?" Ravensong said. She went to the warriors den and poked her head in. "Russetshadow, could you take Bluepaw and go hunting near the waterfall?"
Ravensong strode over to Bluepaw and Thunderpaw, who were outside the warrior's den. "Thunderpaw, you'll go patroling with me and Stormtail, while Bluepaw, you'll be hunting with Russetshadow. K?" Ravensong stated, and turned to go out, with Thunderpaw trailing her. Bluepaw hurried over to Russetshadow.

(And also, the journey to the forest part takes about 8 hours to there, and then 8 hours back, since the camp is far away from it)

Bravestar: *nods to Ravensong* Yes, don't be long to late though, tomorrow is the gathering! He yells after her. Lilypool tells Bravestar an amazing gathering from way back when they lived back in the forest.
"Wow... that must have been an incredibly aggressive bunch of cats!" Bravestar exclaims. "Well, I've got to go. Sorry Lilypool. But I think you will have a new friend in here with you." Bravestar says smiling.

Ravensong, Stormtail and Thunderpaw walked the way to the NightTribe bored. On the way there, they stopped at the passage where Stormtail had found Raven as a kit.
"I remember when I first saw you, I was so surprised. A little kit wandering in the middle of a snowstorm." Stromtail purrs. Ravensong nodded. "Heck, I was glad there was someone. Especially since Hawk, passed away." Raven replied. Suddenly they hear a quiet echoing shriek and a wail. Thunderpaw jumped a tail lenght of the ground, shaking out of his fur. "What was that?!" he nervously asks, warily looking around.
"We'll tell you the story as we go to the NightTribe border." Ravensong said. They jogged along the path, Ravensong and Stormtail each telling parts of the story. Thunderpaw still looked nervous but quiet down and stopped shaking.

(at camp)
Lilypool settled down and ate the sparrow, and soon fell asleep, snoring. Bluepaw went to Bravestar.
"Could we train a bit?" Bluepaw asks.
(OoC: Btw, the training area is about 30 fox lenghts away from camp, not too far. It is at the next flat area near the eastern border.)

"sure!" Bravestar says, "but where's thunderpaw, i was thinking he could come with us," bravestar remarks as he heads out of the camp toward the training area.

"Ravensong said that they would take him patroling. I expect they already left." Bluepaw said, following Bravestar out of camp and toward teh training area.

"oh, okay then, race you to the training area!" he challenges bluepaw, as he starts racing toward the training area.

Bluepaw runs ahead, pulling up shortly before Bravestar at the training area. I wonder how Cloudpaw is doing Bluepaw wonders as she goes to the middle.

"aw, you beat me, lets work on some fighting techniques," bravestar says smiling, as he jumps claw sheathed at bluepaw. "Think fast!!!" he says to bluepaw.

Bluepaw dropped on her belly and ran/scooted forward, and right as Bravestar was overher, she jumped up and hit his stomach so he would go crashing down, and lept on him.

"nice moves, we need to work on some more pure strength moves though," bravestar says as he compliments her fighting move, then pushes her off with his hind legs.

Easy for you to say, I'm smaller than you.Bluepaw thought. "I wouldn't be able to beat you with pure strenght though. I'm smaller than you, I think my best bet would be speed and agility." she said. Bluepaw crouched then started to run, then lept over him, spun, hit him, and then landed. She smirked.

"You still need to learn in case you get pinned, and i'm not using all of my strength, i'm using equal strength as an apprentice would," bravestar stats as he jumps up and bats at her tail then goes underneath her and swats her off balance, knocking her over. "see i used barely any strength in that move, that's a move you could learn." bravestar tells her, then jumps up on a low tree limb. "use a move to get me down from this tree limb." he says smiling.

Bluepaw stood up and shook herself, crouched down, gazing at the area surrounding Bravestar. There was only one tree, and that was the one he was sitting in, yet there are many rocks, which she could use. She jumped on one then starting hoping from one to the other until she got to the tree. She clawed her way to the top in 3 heartbeats and stood without rustling anything.
(Flashback)
Bluepaw was in a tree, at the top with Cloudpaw on a branch lower. She jumped on him and knocked him off as she grabbed on to the branch.
"Nice move, it would defenitely wrok against a larger cat." he purred.
(back to reality) She got a few branches lower, then dropped on Bravestar, knocking into him, while she grabbed the branch with her front paws and scrambled up.

lands on his paws on the ground. "nice move where did you learn it?" bravestar says awed.

"I, figured it out." Bluepaw stammered. "Also, I've heard stories from Lilypool that there used to be Clans, and that one of their techniques was to drop on their enemies. Tree fighting, Lilypool called it." Bluepaw sat down on the branch. She licked her chest self consciously.

"oh.." bravestar said. "you should teach that to the other apprentices," bravestar told her, purring. "well, we should head back to camp, i have a ceremony to preform," he told bluepaw.

"But I'm only 8 moons though, if that is what you are talking about." Bluepaw said, hesitantly. She followed him.
(at the night tribe border)
Thunderpaw, Ravensong and Stormtail had finished telling the story and they were nearly at the gathering place.
"Should we head back soon?" Thunderpaw asked. Ravensong nodded. "Stormtail, finish up marking the border and go back to camp, okay? Thunderpaw and I are going to train a bit." Ravensong said.
"Okay, I will." Stormtail replied.

"Oh no not you, Stripefern," Bravestar says laughing.

Bluepaw sighed in relief. She followed him into camp.
(at the forest clearing, near the islands)
Ravesong crouched down. "Attack me." She ordered Thunderpaw. Thunderpaw focused his gaze on a birch behind Ravensong, ran 3 paces up, reared up and jumped over, twirling as he did so. But Ravensong was ready, she reared up, caught Thunderpaw's paws as she did so and flung him sideways. "Don't make it so obvious what you are trying to do. Cunningness, agility and speed are the best weapons a smaller cat has against a larger cat. And surprise is cat's natural choice. If you are pinned-" Ravensong lept on Thunderpaw, unbalancing him and pinning him over, "You can make it as you have given up, and when the cat has a lesser grip, send them flying. Try it." Ravensong said, still pinning him down. Thunderpaw relaxed and Ravensong lessened her grip, and BAM she was flying. She landed on her side, with a mighty OOMF. Ravensong nodded, approval praticly scorching Thunderpaw. They practiced some more moves before moving on to the mountains.
"What can you scent?" Ravensong queried.
"Mouse, rabbit, faint scent of mountain lion most likely was here a quarter moon ago, and faintly, eagle." Thunderpaw reported. Ravensong nodded. "There might be a nest nearby, let's go check it out."

Bravestar: "Is everyone here in camp?" he asks. "I need everyone in camp, or mostly everyone!" he states.

'Ravensong and her patrol aren't back yet, but mostly everyone is here." Bluepaw said.

"Oh! while i have to wait for at leave Thunderpaw, I want him to see this." Bravestar says to Bluepaw.

Bluepaw nodded and went to grab a mouse for Lilypool and herself. She went over to Lilypool and put the mouse at her feet.
"Thank you Bluepaw." Lilypool purred. Bluepaw nodded and bit into the mouse.
(in the mountains)
"Have you ever raided an eagle's nest? If not, then follow my instructions carefully. We are going to bring the chicks and the mother or father, and if I get injured, get out and hide in the cave over there cave. I'm going to climb into teh nest and drop the chicks to you. I want you to ill them if they are not dead and to carry them to that cave quickly and then climb up to the nest. Got that?" Ravensong explained. Thunderpaw nodded.
"What are we going to do about the mother?" He asked. "We are going to hide around the nest, then when the mother or father comes, we are going to jump on it and bite it's neck until we taste blood. If the mother or father is already there, then leave them be, and we'll wait until it's gone, then carry out the plan. I'll give you a signal when I'm going to drop the chicks. Okay?" Ravensong said. Thunderpaw nodded in awe, and followed Ravensong as she padded to the nest.
"There we are. Do you see the mother or father?" Ravensong asked, and Thunderpaw shook his head. "Okay, I'm going to pass the chicks down." She whispered and climbed up. She dropped the chicks one by one, who died as they struck the hard rock. He carried them all to the cave, hiding all three of them, then ran and quickly climbed to the top. Ravensong, was behind a boulder, and he hid next to her. The mother sensed trouble and quickly came. There was a furious shriek, and then Ravensong leapt out from behind at the same time as Thunderpaw, who pounced on the bird and knocked it down from the nest. The plunge snapped it's neck, and they had a full nest.
"This is going to feed the Tribe for a while!" Thunderpaw exclaimed as he fetched the chicks. Ravensong purred in agreement. She carried the eagle, who was enormous to the well treaded path of the camp entrance, followed by Thunderpaw and the chicks. Stormtail caught up to them and they entered camp, with the eagles.
